France Développement Electronique (hereinafter “FDE”) is committed to protecting your personal data and to adopting a clear and transparent approach to the information it collects and the way it uses it.
FDE uses various cookies on its website (hereinafter “the Site”) to improve the interactivity of the Site and its services.
This policy explains how FDE handles cookies when you use the Site and how you can manage your consent and preferences.

Definitions: what is a “cookie”?

A “cookie” is a piece of information, usually small and identified by a name, that may be transmitted to your browser by a website to which you link.
When FDE uses the term “cookie”, it may be a cookie, tracker or similar technology that relies on access to the terminal you are using to place and read cookies (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you access the FDE Site.
Your web browser will store it for a certain period of time, and will send it back to the web server each time you reconnect.

How does FDE inform you about the cookies it uses?

When you first arrive at the FDE Site, a user consent facility links to this page which gives you full information about the cookies that are then used.

Types of cookies placed on the FDE website

FDE uses internal cookies placed directly by FDE (or its service providers) as well as “third party” cookies placed by partners that FDE has authorised. This type of cookie allows the FDE Site to function optimally. You may object to them and delete them using your browser settings, however your user experience may be degraded.

Collection of consent

On your first visit to the FDE website, you will be given the opportunity to accept or refuse the use of certain cookies. In all cases, you have control over these cookies. If you do not want cookies to be installed or read on your terminal equipment, a refusal cookie will be placed on your equipment, so that FDE can record the information that you have objected to the use of cookies. If you delete this refusal cookie, it will no longer be possible to identify you as having refused the use of cookies. Similarly, when you accept the use of cookies, a consent cookie is set. FDE will retain your choice for a period of 6 months. The consent or refusal cookies must remain on your terminal equipment. You can change your wishes at any time as indicated in the next section entitled “Cookies Management”.

Cookies management

You have several options for deleting and managing cookies and other trackers.

Browser settings

Although most browsers are set by default to accept the installation of cookies, you can choose to accept all cookies, reject them systematically or choose which ones you accept depending on their sender. You can also regularly delete cookies from your terminal via your browser.
However, don’t forget to configure all the browsers on your various terminals (tablets, smartphones, computers, etc.).
For the management of cookies and your choices, the configuration of each browser is different. It is described in the help menu of your browser, which will allow you to know how to modify your wishes regarding cookies. For example:
– for Internet Explorer: http://windows.microsoft.com/fr-FR/internet-explorer/delete-manage-cookies#ie=ie-9;
– for Safari: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH17191?viewlocale=fr_FR;
